There is a good article in today’s Irish Times newspaper discussing the upcoming public wifi trails on Irish trains:

Airappz invited to trail wifi on Irish Rail trains.

After pushing Irish Rail for nearly two years there is finally some result; Airappz has invited to run a 6 month public wifi trail on the Dublin to Cork route!

A correspondent for WiFi Planet, a large website dedicated to wireless technology, recently contacted Airappz’s CEO to discuss the topic of wardriving. Mr. Bopp who through his work as a wireless security consultant has had direct experience with wardriving. He said the following:
